The data comes from the Qualified Voter File (QVF). Data on the dashboard reflects data input into the QVF by clerks and election administrators. Data includes: Active Registered Voters, AV Ballots Requested, AV Ballots Sent, AV Ballots Returned, Number of permanent vote-by-mail voters, Number of Early Voting ballots cast

Please note: 

  1. The deadline to register to vote in any manner other than with the township clerk’s office is 15 days before the election.
  2. Voters may register up through the election day in person in the township clerk’s office with proof of residency. The township clerk’s office will be open the Sunday before the election from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to register voters and issue absent voter ballots.
  3. All registered voters may vote from home. To request an absent voter ballot to vote from home you may use this application, or you may send a signed request in writing to the clerk’s office.

An electronic notification system has now been enabled, is now live, and will be available for the 2024 November election and beyond. Voters can now subscribe to receive electronic notifications at  https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/. Voters will then receive emails when the status of their AV application or ballot is updated.
